Red Berry Overnight Oats Recipe

Something to look forward to in the mornings…

Ingredients:

  • Oats
  • 1tsp red berry superfood powder
  • 1 tsp greek yoghurt (omit this for dairy free version)
  • milk (dairy or your choice of nut milk)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • optional: 1/2 tsp cinnamon or ginger powder
  • Topping: nuts such as flaked almonds, pecan nuts, walnuts and fruit such as berries, banana or apple.

Put all ingredients in a bowl. Use 1 part oats to 2 parts milk, so if you use a small mug of oats, add 2 small mugs of milk. Mix well and spoon it into a mug, glass or mason jar. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for about 2 hours minimum). Top the oats with nuts such as flaked almonds, pecan nuts, walnuts and fruit such as berries or apple and enjoy.
