This high performance fetal doppler can be used from around 12 weeks to listen to your baby’s heart beat, sounds of movement and even hiccups. You and your family can listen to your baby and share the magic of your baby’s early life with extended family and friends by recording the heartbeat via the audio socket.

2 x AA Kodak batteries and 250ml Konix ultrasound gel are included so your doppler will be ready to go when you receive it. It’s really easy to use. You put some ultrasound gel on your tummy and move the powerful 3mHz probe slowly around above your pelvic bone until you pick up the heartbeat.

This model is without LCD display screen.

The fetal doppler emits and receives totally safe small high frequency sounds waves (ultrasound) which reflect of the fetal heart. Obstetricians and midwives have used these devices for some years as an effective means of evaluating fetal condition. For home use the device can give reassurance between check-ups and hospital visits but of course should not be used for diagnostic or treatment purposes.
